Raised by artists, Maura was thrust into the arts at a young age. Her passion and drive led her to San Francisco where she fell in love with acting at the American Conservatory Theater. She continued on her path to Los Angeles, where she graduated from the Second City Improv Theater in 2015 and went on to become an ensemble member. Improv led her to clown where she has never felt more herself as human and a performer. Ask her about de armouring sometime. She is also a movement theatre person that has trained with Frantic Assembly (UK). She loves infusing clown and movement into all she does.

She has performed on stages all over the globe including: UCB (LA/NYC), iO West, Comedy Central Stage, The Pack Theater, Westside Comedy Theater, The PIT NYC, Improv Utopia, The Elysian, The TightRope (Dublin) and the list goes on.

Her most notable TV/Film work include: NCIS LA, Magic Funhouse (Fullscreen), A Trip Elsewhere (Hulu), The Unknown (AMC/SundanceTV), Bum Promises (Amazon), and The Sanctuary (Amazon) which she produced, wrote and starred.

Maura is most proud of her award winning solo show, Extraterrestrial Kink, that debuted at the Hollywood Fringe in 2024. It is currently being developed as a tv series.
